About Me
Hey, I'm Jite
I’m a Dublin-based photographer who specialises in capturing honest moments on 35mm film.
Film Photography started as a creative outlet. I began with street photography, wandering Dublin & London with a film camera in hand, capturing candid moments. These days, I'm more drawn to portraits.
I shoot film because it forces me to be intentional with just 36 shots per roll, every frame counts. I've shot over 160 rolls and counting (that’s over 5,000 photos), and I still get excited waiting for scans to come back. My digital work has even been featured in The Irish Times, which is a bit wild when I think about how this all started.
Outside of photography, you’ll find me playing card games, getting locked into escape rooms with friends, or binge-watching Love is Blind (don’t judge or do). I’m also a commercial and corporate video producer through my creative agency Jetpack, where I help brands tell meaningful stories through film and video.
I told one of my friends I was shooting on film, he’s been a photographer for 60 years and he said “You’re kinda behind the times, but keep doing your thing, man.” I will. Whether film or digital (mostly film) what matters most is that I love what I do.
